crit shot ignores los when u have them targetted

I am pretty sure it does not in general, more specifically what was being attacked and what is suppose to have hindered los? BTW if you already shoot a archery shot while in los, if you move out of los it still lands as it should. Our los checks maybe happening even sooner so that as long as you start the shot, los is not abridged. (I am not sure on that have not checked code recently)

LOS checks for all spells, archery included, happen at the start, middle, and end of the shot. It's possible to get a shot off if the target goes out of range near the end of the count. If, however, you can shoot a target you can't even see then this is a bug. I'm not able to reproduce it.

No, what I mean is that I can target the person, hit the crit shot button, and they immediately move out of LoS right when I hit the button and it'll hit them; but it doesn't matter even if they stealth immediately when I hit the button, it still will go off even if they move out of LoS immediately, if I had them targetted previously. If you need help reproducing this, let me know. I can show you very well what I mean.

This has been fixed. All GT spells will require LoS to cast. This may make them harder to use than on live but I see this as the best result.

Ignore previous comment, posted to wrong bug!

But they were in los when hitting the button then so my comments are valid that it is not ignoring los completely, and since Tola says there are checks at later stages. This is why I asked for more information.

I am wondering if there might be a small bug here. In this case Arms is asking for LoS to a player who stealthed. It could be we should check to see if player is stealthed even if LoS succeeds, but the fix won't be that easy since it will have to take stealth skills into account (ie they might be stealthed but we still might be able to see them).

Aye, what I'm talking about is hit the crit button, and it not firing yet, but then they stealth away (or out of LoS, not necessarily stealth) and it'll still go off NO MATTER where they are, and disregarding LoS completely. I am not talking about it firing and then they are out of LoS and it hits them, I mean it hitting them even when they moved out of LoS before it fires, well in advance before it fires. Same applies with Power Shot btw. Both of these spells never used to do this. Maybe something was changed recently?

I'll look into it this weekend.

Ya there maybe a bug, not saying there isn't one, just need more than the initial vague/general report to know what it might be, is all I was saying. Now we have more info, stealth is one situation it maybe ignoring, also that it is crit and power shot. With that later part, I say take a look at the bypass/ignore code for those shots.
