This topic is pushing the development interesting for the Dawn of Light project:

Tools section:

- mob creator (similar to item creator and 2D visual mapper - you can use sources of item creator [ and quest designer)
status: Perhaps a WIP on Blues' basis. Thank you all !

- quest designer improvements and tests
status: > task open, maintainer needed <-


We need maintainer for QuestDesigner, and in less prioritary, PacketLogConverter and PLCFilter.

DoL gamecode and Quests section:

- Siegecraft
- Artef encounters - contact Bluraven to coordinate the work !
- MLs encounters - contact Bluraven to coordinate the work !
- All <Epic Encounter> brains except dragons
- High UV quests (ie Paidrean)
- NPC Style support to work with NPCTemplate

General DoL code & database related:

- Database changes, rewriting DOLDatabase to support LinqToSql and use DBLinQ as a multidb provider.
- LanguageManager revamp works, how to allows translation of items, mobs, and so on.
- Livelike instances to finish - contact Argo to coordinate the work !
- Various bugfixes (please have a look at code group in Storm bugtracker)

I can perhaps work on spell creator, although I'd be basing it in java as thats what I'm pretty decent with for the time being..

I'd love to know if there's a logical way of mapping the spellIDs from the client's icon sheets, some sort of systematic formula ^^

Perhaps basing the work on current MPK/spell.csv ? the user should provide path to daoc client, and you can use MPKviewer source.

Aye but I don't know if theres a way of linking a spells ID to its position on the UI graphics sheets.

I can do these. Will atleast create the mobs to have them give credit for the encounters. .

( i would make them like live completely, spells, abilities etc. but my memory is kinda shot about the encounters.)
