Weekly Website Update: 22nd September

Hi folks,

Last week I promised to spend some time updating the website's style. I am pleased to report that this is going well.

The aim for this week was to update the general presentation of the home page. I feel there is more that can be done on the homepage and we will do our best to continue the improvement as well as look at the navigation bar, the logo and the footer.

This week we made the following changes:

SITE CHANGES

- Fixed the 404 page error that servers with no description were getting in the DAoC Portal client (Thanks Viper)
- Added a DAoC themed background image for the entire site.
- DOLBot now has an avatar!

HOME PAGE CHANGES

- Introduction text shortened
- Added Storm D2 and Uthgard as featured servers
- Added a combined news feed showing SVN commits, Blog posts and News.
- Added issue tracker widget to right showing the most recent Dawn of Light grouped issues as well as the oldest.

The background pic is very good. The distinct colors (ho, colours, sorry ) alternance for each reply (blue/white/blue/white) is good.

Can you add a bottom padding for border ? it appears compressed in this page: http://www.dolserver.net/products/daocp ... nodesc.php (or the page displayed after a reply).

A min-height should be more efficient in this case, and will work on any page, with or without this problem.

I am having some issues accessing the site on mobile with my iPhone. Have you looked into this?
