mh.. I'm not so sure to like not-W3C rules for an open source project official site. Perhaps we may think about that on the website of the Official Shard, but on the dev site I'd prefer to see strict HTML (better if it is XHTML, so that I can read the site even from my mobile phone/pad, I like technology :P).

Finally my suggestion is to revamp this site with XHTML STRICT (it is now HTML 4.01 Transitional), except for forum which may use phpBB3 and a custom navigation menu more useful than the default one with our links and banner for wiki/downloads.

And a real good use of RSS feeds (create more than one for different news), so that I can add it to my blog(s) and web(s). :D

That makes sense, Adobe Flex is pretty cool, and you can do a whole lot with it.

I've got the Flex client if anyone needs. (no it's not a bootleg copy).

So the site will have it's own template and won't be linked to phpBB style.

Hooray! It would be nice to have a 'DoL' looking site :). Something we can customizing using our own .css or whatever you decide to use. I need to do some web development, I feel so lost in these conversations!

One thing I love about flash - file size in the single-figure kbs.

lol we use this for our portal system, I need an article for phpbb3 ;-) plus I want the site to have a consistant layout, I hate that about sites where their forum is so seperated, it needs to be continuous, including the wiki,

I agree. I hate sites where the forum looks like a step child. Right now, the wiki looks like the step child. And a lot of the site looks like the forgotten child :(.

When phpBB3 came out, I tried some of the simliar things I use for phpBB2, it is not the same, I'd need to go chasing some other documentation.
