Trainer are not working ! Bug ?

Hi all !

I created a trainer using :

i up my test char (plvl 1) to level 5.

i create a trainer /mob create DOL.GS.Trainer.ThaneTrainer with my admin char.

i clicked on the trainer with my test char and a windows pops up with abilities /realm abilities etc, i trained stormcalling at lvl 5 but when i go to my abilites, i have nothing !

can you explain me why ?
Is that because i up lvl 5 without killing mobs ?

My trainer don't ask me if i want to join the Thane rank...

No offense, but you really should take a look at the basic tutorials that are available in the forums and on the website itself. I mean I am not a DOL Expert at all, but it seems like you don't have any knowledge about DOL at all.

Have you even imported one of the public DB releases? Or are you just using the normal DB entries that DOL creates after the first server start?

Shadexx thank's for the answer, i already took a look at the basic, i already made server with old DOL files... but a lot of things changed since that time !

I Imported the last release of the DataBase (approximately 42MB).

Are you sure you imported the latest database correctly?

There aren't enough decent tutorials around here any more sadly, the majority are out of date.

yes i made a correction on my DB and it works fine now ! one table was outdated !

I was having a similar issue...

Trainers wouldn't interact, most merchants wouldn't interact. random items drops and the like, would delve as leather, tho were not equip-able by leather wearing classes.

I Did notice all the mobs effected had been reverted to the default mob brains.. ultimately, I searched, and searched.. and found nothing of relevance.

My resolution for this was rather simple.. I wiped the database... and the server... and everything and started over from scratch. .. the good ole windows cure all.. format and reinstall! :p
