XOR 168 ??

Can any old timer tell me why the ClientPackets are XORed with 168? in the DOL IPacketLib ?
just curios...

I wasn't around DOL development when this was implemented, but I think this have something to do with a lot of packet Code changes around version 1.68 of DAOC Client/Server
