DAOC Gensis

Hi all, been absent for a while with real life issues and finally have some time to play again. Is the Gensis server dead now? If so is there a decent alternative please? Many thanks in advance

Genesis is no longer availbale. You can try Storm:D2 for huge fun !

Sorry, the server costs were player supported and funding ran dry. We've taken the down time to work on fixing some performance chokepoints in our code and will be relaunching fresh under our original name 'Origins' some time next year. I'll be footing the bill personally on smaller hardware unless server load dictates otherwise to prevent future issues when it comes to paying the bills. Open Beta is expected some time in January and should last between 30-60 days..
