Adding files from the resources page

Hi guys,

I hope I'm in the right area for this post and i need some guidance. I have finally managed to get my server up and running and it all seems fine, thankfully However, could someone point me in the right direction of a guide or the procedure required to add the files from the resources page into my database as I am not sure how or where to put them. It's things like the potion merchant i want to add. Apologies if this is a simple question but i've not tried anything like this before, hell, the last time i did anything like this was basic programming on my zx spectrum haha

There 2 ways of doing it via db but i would prefer doing it ingame couse it allow you to check the results quick and soon as you get a feeling how it look in db you can try the same via db.

So lemme xplain how you do ingame a potion merchant:

/mob create DOL.GS.GameMerchant

or

/mob create DOL.GS.GameBountyMerchant

/item findname For Items you wanna dd

then do /merchant sell add Exakt name of list like Pootion_for_BPs
(click merchant couse it assign a list of goods merchant gonna sell)

then do /merchant articles add Exact_item_id (not case sensitive) 0 0 (for page 1 slot 1)
(this is filling the asigned list)

to the question how to add resource files depens if xml file or sql file

if sql file its an command you run via open data in heidisql / navicat (even if you should use heidisql)

if xml you nead read it out via the import method.

You should do in *j dftest to check if its proper after that you can do 2 things:

either copy mob by name with macro /macro copy /mob copy "exact Name"

or you can walk to any merchant and do /macro add /merchant sell add GameBountyPotions or how ever you called the list.
