DoL Setup

Hello everyone!

I've recently gotten into setting up a DoL server, however, I keep running into complications. I can't seem to find a database that works well enough that I can start with. I know there isn't a perfect one out there, but so far I've had many issues with quests, npcs not working or appearing, little to no mobs, battleground castle textures not working, and so on. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I feel like I've tried many if not all of the available databases, and it sounds like I'm the only one struggling.

the latest DB released by Planarchaos is probably the most complete DB to use. there's over 120000 mobs ....
keep textures, i believe there is some fix for it, search the forums i think its been covered. I dunno about quests, There are some quests ingame, but due to the amount of work to make quests, there isnt many and you will have to make your own.
use game dll 1.109 to be on the safe side, i think i tried 1.22b and i had mobs disappearing and odd things happening.

And replace the Nif folder in your daoc/frontier/nif with this one against the wrong textures:
