i have set up a small server. the best way of learning something is doing.

i have it running, if anyone wants to log on, feel free, but remember i am playing around with it, who knows i might add some to have GM privileges.

server ip is atarian.hopto.org

if you want to play around on a server and see what a bog standard setup is, at present.

i will try and keep it up for a week, then i am on holiday. so subject to BT changin IP all should be fine.

Hi, i tested to connect on, but i can't :
- On client, i've just a message to press Escape for quit
- On linux terminal i have this message maybe can help :

UPDATE : i tested with the ip directly and works. Do you have mapped the 10300 port on atarian.hopto.org ?

yes i log onto the server using the atarian.hopto.org as i am on a dynamic ip.

i could do it locally but it wouldn't show up any problems a remote client is having.
