Damage over Time - Critical Hits + Messages

I've adjusted DoT spells to display livelike messages and with the following behaviors:

Summary:
The first application of the DoT determines whether it criticals
A dot can critical hit of up to 100% of base damage.
A dot that critical hits have a 25% damage increase on base.
The critical value is same on every tick.


Re-application and duration still need to be tested

Code has is active on Atlantis and has been tested.

DOTs were changed to NOT critically hit for EVERY tick, but for individual ticks there was a chance. Each tick should have its own crit chance, i'm not sure about the damage increase tho.

DOTs were changed to NOT critically hit for EVERY tick, but for individual ticks there was a chance. Each tick should have its own crit chance, i'm not sure about the damage increase tho.
On live, if the first hit is a critical, all other ticks have the same amount of damage the first hit had.

Was this changed very recently?

I received a bug report on my server in Nov. 2012 with testing on Pendragon that matches the behavior in my patch. Here is the screenshot they submitted: http://i.imgur.com/NoL6d.png .

I think my fix is correct. =)

hmm I cant find it on the herald, I may have reversed it tho, but I could swear I was mad at that patch cuz I played mentalist lol
