since i was bored and the genesis aka daoc origins shard still does not have a login queue although its server is overrun sometimes, i tried to write an ingame login/play queue myself for fun
- if ingame queue is enabled, clients exceeding max players are enqueued
- each entering player is sent to a predefined location (preferable confined)
- communication to the server is shutdown except for console messages
- players are notified of their position in the queue
- players disconnecting before becoming active get their original locations restored
- for every active player who quits, an enqueued player is dequeued and sent back to his original location lifting his restrictions, so he can start to play
