Outpost XP

Does anyone have anything to discuss about Outpost XP:

The information I have is from 1.54:

- Players now receive an exp bonus when fighting within 16,000 units of a keep controlled by your realm or your guild. You get 20% bonus if your guild owns the keep or a 10% bonus if your realm owns the keep.

I think its kinda overrated. But then again the only time I ever used it was on Andred and poeple used to always try to take Nott from us . 20% is nice, but w/ 4x xp it seems a bit useless.. *shrug who knows.. Thats like 4.8x instead of 4x xp, so it might go a little quicker . It would just say you

You gain w experience! (x camp bonus) (y group bonus) Then:
You gain z experience points for controlling an outpost! or something like that. I believe it became another added bonus to the side like camp and group in the end though.

They do seem pretty useless, now if they were a REALM POINT and BOUNTY POINT boost, they would be useful.

You get RPs and BPs for it as well.

Yes, but this isn't outpost experience in the way of every RP and BP you gain you get the message? It's a pool that is created when a keep is under attack, and either the defenders share it out, if the attackers are defeated, or the attackers get it, when the keep is captured?

I haven't experienced this so I can't comment.

Nope its just a bonus the same as you get for XP.. I would assume it is the same as the XP (20%). They also added in RP's for sucessfully defending a keep. IE you defend the keep for lets say 10 minutes. (Very little time in between attacks) You get a keep defense bonus.

Ok, I can understand it for defence, but when is it applied for attack?

No.. I meant if a group of poeple attack the keep, wipe and move on.. I don't think you get an defense bonus(Though I could be wrong). Upon further thought I think I might be wrong, b/c I know we had a group attack our keep twice and after we rolled them twice they moved on.. And we recieved an outpost defense bonus while waiting.

I think it's an entirely different system, not related to outpost XP at all. In 1.70 notes there are comments about the pool system, but this is seperate.
