Postby LynX90 » Sat Apr 06, 2013 4:08 pm

Hi all, and thanks

Here my question...

How to limit a zone... I want to limit Camelot Hills arround Cotswold village... them I cant limit it with /object because I can throught them... I want to know how to limit it with invisible wall or where I can find the script for it.

Thanks very much

People tend to solve this by teleporting people back into the region when leave.

I think a nicer way of handling it would be to set the player's speed to zero if they are walking away from your zone, then if they turn around give them 191 again

Or do a teleport to the same spot they're at, with their direction inverted.

But then that gives an exceptionally jerky feel to the client, that some people tend to mistake for lag

Make a timer which also shows warning messages when players distance to the central point of the area is greater than a certain distance. When the timer elapses port the player back if still out of range.

Or you can do the ridiculous battlefield 3 way, warn them as they leave and tell them to turn back.. and if they don't, slowly kill them.
