Hmm since when is this broken? The SVN update forum posts, that is.

Need to talk to Tolakram about that I think, he runs a script on storm which grabs XML from a third party website (which seems to be offline now) and then uploaded the file to this website. (SourceForge doesn't allow us to grab remote data ourselves)

Details here: http://lwn.net/Articles/518955/

There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who have backups and those who just lost something. Lessons never learned.

Anyway details there about a new service replacement that we probably can't use due to SourceForge limitations.

As i come back actively in the project, i'll try to troubleshoot/workaround this issue. This is extremly annoying this lack of commits ! (And more as i see i didn't receive some Baldrug pushed some hours ago :D)

Do we know exactly what the requirements to get something like this going again would be?

Just write an app to check the svn log, create an XML, upload it somewhere, and DOLBot will check the XML with it's cached XML and make posts on any difference. Sadly SourceForge's own system is empty - https://sourceforge.net/p/dolserver/code/feed

it is repaired. I migrated yesterday whole SVN to new system - so rss feed should be filled on every new commit.

anyhow, i'm trying to directly hook the commit process to create a post here, directly on SF servers, i'd really avoid the external trigger.

SF architecture is always interesting to dig, although sometimes ... slow to browse :D
