It's important to remember that DoL is a voluntary project. People who help you are not obliged to lend their knowledge, but do so out of their own kindness. As a result, its a good idea to bear this in mind when asking questions on support.
Be polite, say thank you and have a dose of patience and effort at hand and people will be more inclined to help you.
Be rude, never return to the post to say thanks for the solution, expect everyone to do the hard work for you and disrespect the efforts of others and you will fast find yourself up code creek without a paddle or anyone willing to lend you one.
In general I am impressed with the standards of the community when it comes to being grateful, and there are alot of very pleasant individuals who are gladly helped. But lets keep it that way! Lets not have anyone letting the side down. Remember to be polite and thankful and everyone will benefit from a better community.
