Archer Guards

Hello Guys / Girls,

I am really new to this, tried hours to find things out.
I have two questions.
1. My Archer Guards Don´t shoot. I added corret NpcTemplate (Bolts are fine, only Archery hangs). They faceing enemy player and want to do something but nothing happens.

I use the GuardBrain for this, the Elds are Casting very well :)

2. Any chance to get my Guards attacking stealthed enemy Players?

Hello,

1. You talk about keepguards or game standard guards or mob npc? Mayby try add them correct distance and aggro range?

2. For stealth you need write a brain code.

Archery spells or Archery regular bow? Archery spells dont work with npcs as the spell requires a bow.

Make sure it has its Bow in the ranged slot (13) and not the twohanded slot.

and then make /npc weapon 2 - that should do the job?

Thats just a model though, not a physical bow, though i guess you could either A: script a mob to use a " bow" or B edit archery to work like a bolt if used by a npc, in my experiance, B would be easier, A would be more conveniant

Hello !

I think you should try without the GuardBrain.

Try this,

Create a standard mob, model it and create an equiptemplate (add a bow on the distance slot like Galroth said).
Don't forget to make it /mob aggro 100 and /mob range [your range].
Remove the peace flag.
After that, make the speed of the mob to 0, change the realm of the mob and try it.

That's what i did for my guards and that's working :)
