By default DOL Server start with SQLite configured to allow for an "autostart"

There is a DLL missing around there, or you're not using a recent enough .NET Framework to be able to load the SQLite DLL...

(Use .NET Framework 4.5 at least...)

Anyway you must attend to the database layer to be able to launch the Server ! You can switch with DOLConfig to a MySQL database if you are using one, but the driver may need .NET 4 at least (I updated it recently there was trouble around some queries with the older one)

The main exception in there is

try to copy the SQLite DLL (from the sharedModules directory) to somewhere in your "Debug" or "Release" folder (next to DOLServer.exe or in lib sub directory...) until it can find it

SQLite shouldn't be used when you're connected to MySQL but in the method CheckOrCreateTable(DataTable table) I needed to switch behavior depending on the driver, so there could be some dependency to SQLite anyway !

I gladly welcome anyone with a better way to include this DLL in our project (Dynamic Loading maybe ?)

Thank you for the fast reply, at first i tried to move the "System.Data.SQLite.dll" into my debug folder, but there was already the same file, so i tried to pull it into the libs folder - same thing here, also a SQLite.dll here, so i just pulled it into a new ordner under the libs root. started the dolserver.exe, still the same issue

Here are some possible solutions :

- Try to install both x86 and x86_64 .NET Framework
- Try to install any Visual C++ Redistributable listed in the given links (official SQLite Home or Stack overflow trouble shooting)
- try to use another DLL from SQLite targeted at your architecture (32/64 bits, depending on how you build DOL and what .NET framework you're using)

I don't remember what DLL we're using to build DOL actually, this is not a really "clean job", but it's definitely a binary DLL targeted directly to either x86 or x86_64 for supporting both types I should have bundled Interop.dll but I didn't understand how to do this
