DOL config - Server properties not available

Hi there,

i'm a noob in DOL and database, but i wanna try to make my own server to have some fun in memories.

First i tried the outdated DOL Server - Package with different databases. Not really fine, but working.
Some bugs like Trainers who won't talk to player.

With the new Version 1.9.7.3595, it looks like server is running fine.
But I don't understand why the server config is not able to connect to the server properties.
General configuration, database and Extra properties are working.

I get the Info: Unable to connect/read sql database.

Looks like your server isnt connected to the DB its just reading an own temporary db outa start up scripts.
With the Config File you need need connect to the Database and click test conection if it says Congratiulation i am connected the db is really linked to the server and then the properties should appear.

The Other possebility is that your DB is just very outdated that can create such issues too.

yes i have the same issue, i can connect to the DB successfully, but when clicking on the server properties tab, it say "unable to connect/read sql database" down the bottom. Perhaps something to do with the database revamp some versions ago.

you can just edit the server properties table in your database

I see now the issue and its based on config not based on database and couse im mostly an db guy i cant do much on that.

(Dint read fully the first post it seem couse now after i noticed the issue i dont have a clue how i managed to understand it wrong^^)

Okay, if there are no other negative consequences, i'll edit the properties directly in the db.

There are no negative consequences in fact we dont need the config properties but couse its more comfortable we should get it to run again^^
