Unable to add server to list

I figured it out. For some reason when I was masking the changes in the db the changes were not being saved. So I just wiped the serverproperties table and reloaded them when i started the server and it was able to connect to the serverlist. Thanks for all the help and assistance!

Sometimes the changes are not saved as you make them or move from column to column. Sometimes Apply needs to clicked.

Try this

run DOLConfig.exe

Go to the server properties tab.

Then find the lines listeed below and change them.

serverlist_updateuser = your username
serverlist_updatepassword = your password
enable_serverlistupdate = True

dont change properties with dolconfig file cause first of all not all properties listed there second its not fully supported and dont save changes most of the time even if you enable update line.
change the properties directly in db

After attempting everything posted here, server is still indicating bad user name and password. Your Servers entry was not updated.

FYI we figured it out... cannot use special characters in the password.
