the NF bug is appearing again... mass replication... "all forces to the keep!"

its a diablo family so becarful they going turn into monsters ^^

it doesnt do it all the time... so atm no way on players end to find a defining moment. it not only makes copies of other ppl without their armor, it also negates spell effects. when you cast spells or have spells cast on you, you can not see them (i always have spell effects on and yes i checked it was still on :D). when i ran with insane last night he actually was killed during a keep. i clicked on my group window to rez him and it showed him full health, not allowing me to cast rez. another player arrived so i also invited venomous, when i did so he wasnt getting the invites to group.

so it does appear to actually be affecting more than just spell effects and making all these crazy paper doll copies.

Unfortunately I think this is the result of too many objects in an area, what area I'm not sure. The client gets overloaded and only a complete quit to desktop fixes it.

it initiates on player load/port in to NF and doesnt always follow a player from NF port in area

I am not sure this isn't some kind of region bug I introduced at some point. It happened to my GM char (the spy) last night, and relogging to desktop did not fix it. Only when Gwoe relogged did it stop (he was the one being duplicated).

This only happens in D2NF, which has custom region code as all of the D2 regions have. Nothing in the region is different from any other D2 region until the Diablo III event starts. Now of course there could still be a bug here since I have to check to see if the event started, so the code is not identical to the other D2 regions.

So, the first question is, can this bug be duplicated when the D3 event is not ongoing?

Second. I know I am below the total number of objects supported in a region, which is limited on the server side, but there appears to be a client limit on the zone side. The entrance zone does not have a huge number of mobs, but the areas around Durance of Hate and the path to Agramon is overloaded. Does the bug happen at the D2F entrance, or only around Durance or the path to D3?
