Error: Your password is incorrect!

I've been on a long hiatus (3-4 years, at least), so created a new account (no idea what the details of the old one might have been), but every time I try to start the game I get an error that says:

Your password is incorrect!
Hit esc to exit.

Before you ask, yes I'm sure my password is correct. It works just fine for forums and for the Storm RVR server.
I tried changing my password, and I made sure that my client is up to date and I am using the correct Frontiers and game.dll files.

What else can I do?

PM me your account name, not the password, and I can reset it.
