Server Editor

Postby Shursan » Tue Nov 13, 2012 2:15 pm

Hi all,

I have become to write a Global Dol Editor for make some changes more easy.

Actually, there's a Spell Editor, a Style Editor, a zone/battleground/region editor, a NPCTemplate editor and a craft editor.
I need to do to more works on data validation for all this editor (if someone test it and find a bug :)

I have included in the preferences a Origins Database Settings. That's just a checkbox for activate multiple database case specific to Origins. Don't check it if you test it.

Hope it pleases.

I think i am missing something. I downloaded, unziped, checked config's and input my ip db name and password. Then tried to run the .exe's. Nadda, zip, zilche, zero, nothing. Mouse wheels spun then stopped. However, nice work on the mob model pics.

I have built an installer last night and fixed somes bugs in those editors (searchcombobox principally).
Somes data validation are also done.

Bones, i don't know really know why you can't use it if you can launch it.
If that's a database problem access, normally at each editor load you have somes errors message..

Can you please retry with this built ?

(uploaded on next post because i'm not sure dol web server can store this by attachment and i have writted this message 3 times before, upload failed :p)

Downloaded it and installed. Thanks

It is working just fine. I was able to get my dreaded seal crafting done with this tool. I will be uploading my dreaded seal collector as soon as i finish up the scriptloaded event for adding everything to db.

On that note. what would be the best method for adding/changing the existing people like Relena in TNN? add a new mob or update her class to my class?

Hi, a new installer version is available. (soon a program update for avoid complete setup download)

All combos box values have been updated to string value instead enums.
Integration of some Mass editor form in Main Page. (only the form.)
Integration of .Net Framework 4.0 installation if necessary.
Integration AboutBox.

Its a nice piece of code Ysia.

It is mean to be opensource ? This is typically something that could stand in the DOL svn if someone is interested to maintain it.

And this is a very good amount of work.

I'm working lazily on Blue's mob editor, but in fine i should enhance yours instead of rewrite some parts of it.

Any screenshots of this thing? Also does it break easily? (ie, my spell db is modified for an extra row)

Also, why is it frigging 80 mb? That's tremendous.

Because models.dolserver.net pictures are included.

Ysia, you should try and use DOLModelViewer ( http://www.dolserver.net/models/dolmodelviewer.php )

I'll test it :)
The svn repository https://dolserver.svn.sourceforge.net/s ... delViewer/ seems offline for me.
