Websites, model viewer, and Storm!

Postby Graveen » Sat Sep 19, 2009 10:41 pm

Hello folks,

As you can notice, our websites (Dawn of Light, Storm, Portal) where under heavy work theses past days.

Now, it seems the trouble is gone, and i hope all 'll go for the best !

I'm also happy to announce an always WIP but nearly finished model viewer. First part is mobs, you can check a draw at http://dev.dolserver.net/models

The limitation are: no navigation interface, around 350 missing models, a limit to 60 models displayed per pages.
Search fields are the one i get from DAoC client, the pertinence is not from me. Notice search form is big. Certainly too big !

Last but not leat, feel free to play on Storm. We will certainly try to test some 'happy hour' for main rewards, be sure to have a character meeting the requirements for the best game experience.

Graveen.

when i try to use the filter
i just get this message
Code: Select all
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '\'%giant%\' AND (Name LIKE \'%player mount%\' OR MountID>0)' at line 1

Use this for linking to this Server if you want to make some promo for Storm
Code: Select all

Code: Select all
it seems the first ' is included, but the filter string is surrounded by two escaped ' and no final unescaped '.

the items viewer (weapons, armors, objects) is now avalaible at http://dev.dolserver.net/models/

next step will certainly be the effects for weapons. Do not forget to clic 'search' once you option is selected !

Was not sure where to post but I am getting some friends into DAoC and the link on the main page to download the client is broken.
http://daoc.goa.com/downloads/SetupDAoC_LOTM.exe
Thanks,
Ron

Not surprising since goa shutdown their servers a little while ago that link wouldn't work anymore.

If you need client files have to get them through ea mythic related sources.
